Show hidden files within cPanel File Manager

If you wish to view or add a file such as .htaccess / .htpasswd (files starting with .), you will need to ensure that you have Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) enabled.

1. To do this, please first log into your File Manager from within cPanel
2. Click on Settings (upper right corner)
3. Tick the box next to Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)
4. Click Save

This will then display hidden files within the File Manager.
