Following the release of PHP v8.2 at the end of 2022, cPanel have now made this available for hosting accounts. The caveat is that this is only available on servers running RHEL/Almalinux v8 (please see https://docs.cpanel.net/ea4/php/introduction-to-php/) which is on our newer servers.
Should you require PHP v8.2 and this is not available in your cPanel control panel within the MultiPHP manager, we can move your account to a newer server that has this version available - just open a support ticket requesting this.
All accounts are planned to be migrated anyway over the next year to newer servers running the newer operating system version as CentOS v7 (that many of our servers run) reaches end of life in June 2024.
