Fasthosts / UK Reg

 

To transfer a domain from Fasthosts / UK Reg to Penguin:

For .uk domains

  1. Firstly, log into your Ukreg.com account
  2. To transfer a Fasthosts domain away from UKreg, you'll first need to check if it was initially registered at UKreg or if it was transferred into UKreg from elsewhere.
  3. Click on the Members Login link at the top of the page.
  4. Go to UKreg and select Configure Domains.
  5. Select the domain you'd like to move to us and choose Change IPS Tag
  6. The IPS Tag for Penguin Internet Ltd is PENGUIN - enter it here.
  7. If the domain was previously transferred into UKreg from another registrar then you must also send a fax, on headed notepaper, to UKreg providing the following information:
  • The new IPS Tag name (PENGUIN)
  • The username and password for your UKreg account
  • The domain name
  • The support fax number for UKreg you will need is 0370 888 3555. Should you not have access to a FAX machine, please let us know and we can assist with this for you.

 

For TLD domains

  1. Login to UKreg.com account
  2. Click on the Members Login link at the top of the page.
  3. Select Configure Domains in the middle of the page.
  4. Select the domain you wish to unlock.
  5. Click Unlock For Transfer. Please note: This does not apply to .eu domains.
  6. Click Confirm.
  7. Contact UKreg support and ask them to send you your Auth Code.
